Undergraduate research program matrix in development for West Lafayette, Indianapolis

The Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is launching an undergraduate research program matrix that captures the scale of research programming at West Lafayette and Indianapolis. The Purdue OUR is reaching out to the research community to assist us in populating this matrix.

If you are a part of an undergraduate research program, submit the survey by Oct. 4 to be included in the next version of the matrix. Updated matrices will follow with new programs and changes to previously included programs.

This matrix will provide Purdue faculty, staff and students with a valuable, single-source summary of undergraduate research programs available in the two locations. The goal is to help research mentors, administrators and students identify and plan for upcoming opportunities and their general deadlines.

The OUR defines a program for this matrix as an ongoing opportunity that includes a structure with a larger programmatic or overarching goal. Programs should include multiple undergraduate student researchers within the year. Course-based undergraduate research experiences are eligible if the course is offered multiple terms.

If you are unsure whether your research program would be included, contact the OUR at ugresearch@purdue.edu.
