Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium starts July 25

The 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium, hosted by the Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research, invites Purdue faculty, staff and students and the general community to watch presentations during the poster symposium and research talks, which start Thursday (July 25). 

The hybrid symposium will include over 450 presentations representing various colleges and schools. Light refreshments will be provided.

  • Poster symposium sessions will be held from 9-10 a.m., 10:30-11:30 a.m., noon to 1 p.m., and 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Thursday (July 25) in the Purdue Memorial Union East and West Faculty Lounges on the 2nd floor.
  • In-person research talks will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday (July 25) in Grissom Hall.
  • Virtual presentations, with no specific time or location, will take place from Thursday (July 25) through Aug. 1.

The abstract summary booklet with the presentation schedule can be found on the symposium website. Those interested in providing constructive feedback to presenters are encouraged to attend.
