September policy updates

Updates to the following systemwide policies are effective Sept. 1.

  1. Campus Security and Crime Statistics (IV.A.2): The statement of policy was edited to better explain how the university complies with applicable laws, and the responsibilities were updated to align with organizational changes.
  2. Gifts, Gratuities and Recognition (III.B.5) and Institutional Conflicts of Interest (III.B.6): Language was added to both policies to comply with new state legislation that addresses foreign adversaries.

Visit the new and revised policies page on the University Policy Office website for a link to the full text of these systemwide policies and standards.

Note: Policies and standards do not apply to Purdue Global, as it maintains its own policies and standards.
