Purdue’s campus extension in Indianapolis covers entirety of the Circle City

Purdue University’s new campus extension covers the entirety of Indianapolis with multiple facilities across the Circle City.

The new, fully integrated Indianapolis extension of Purdue’s flagship campus now covers all of the Circle City, bringing the academic rigor and accessible excellence the university is known for to central Indiana, fueling growth and accelerating an innovation-based economy for Indianapolis, the state and the nation.

The Indianapolis location has eight strategically located facilities, including a 28-acre site as well as 150,000 square feet of space dedicated to support research, teaching and learning. Students can find housing accommodations at both LUX on Capitol and North Hall, and plans are already underway for additional facilities across the city, including a new academic and student success building, approved earlier this year by Purdue’s Board of Trustees.

Several Purdue programs will have established spaces in Indianapolis, including the Mitch Daniels School of Business Executive Education programs at High Alpha in the Bottleworks District, a Materials and Manufacturing Research Laboratories facility at 16 Tech Innovation District, the Purdue/Eskenazi health psychiatry residency program at the Eskenazi Mental Health Center, the Purdue Motorsports partnership with Dallara in Speedway, and Purdue’s partnership with Elanco Health in the One Health Innovation District.

Purdue is continuing to expand in Indianapolis to pioneer an innovation district located in the heart of the state – where future-ready talent, innovation and business intersect to accelerate the STEM talent pipeline.
