New faculty and lecturer orientation scheduled for Aug. 15

University leaders are set to welcome new faculty and lecturers, including Indianapolis faculty, at the upcoming orientation program and information fair from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 15 in the Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom.

The daylong event will feature presentations from a variety of campus leaders, a resource fair and networking opportunities. Speakers will present on topics important to the success of faculty and lecturers, covering teaching and learning, the research enterprise, mentoring, engagement, climate and safety, and more.

An information fair for new faculty and lecturers will take place from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union South Ballroom, with representatives from 51 university providers and offices ranging from Sponsored Program Services to Purdue Convocations.

The event will conclude with welcome remarks from President Mung Chiang.

New faculty and lecturers are encouraged to view the view the agenda and register for the program here.
