The Spring Fling committee invites employees to register as volunteers for Spring Fling, the annual appreciation event for faculty, staff, graduate student staff and retirees. This year’s event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 23 at and around Memorial Mall.

Each year approximately 250 volunteers are needed to help make Spring Fling a success. Volunteers can select from a variety of shifts and responsibilities, including setting up tables, decorations and balloons; assisting with food lines and drink refills; directing attendees at the information booth; staffing check-in, check-out and checkpoint spots for the 3-mile fitness walk; and emptying trash and recycling containers.

Available time slots and positions are listed on the online volunteer registration form, which closes April 30. Those who sign up to volunteer will receive a Spring Fling T-shirt and three additional entries for door prizes.

More information about Spring Fling activities, including events that require registration by May 17, is on the Spring Fling website.
