* The John Martinson Honors College will hold a virtual informational session for faculty regarding the Breakthrough Research Awards from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday (May 17). Purdue faculty (tenure-track, clinical, lecturer) from all disciplines at Purdue’s West Lafayette and Indianapolis locations should consider applying to fund their high-quality research, scholarship or creative inquiry with undergraduates. This year’s theme is health and well-being. Awards will range from $50,000-$75,000. Interested faculty may register for the Zoom session here. Those unable to attend may reach out to Priyanka Brunese, JMHC director of research, at pshah@purdue.edu. The deadline to submit proposals is July 15.

The call for applications will be available May 15 on the Breakthrough Research Awards website. Information on last year’s awardees can be found here.
