MaPSAC elects emeritus members

The State and Grant Street Gateway at Purdue University.

The Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee elected two nonvoting emeritus members for 2024-25 during its meeting April 10.

JJ Sadler, associate director of the Office of Undergraduate Research, and Samanthi Obeyesekera, senior program administration specialist for the Technical Assistance Program and Manufacturing Extension Partnership, will become emeritus members upon completion of their regular membership in May. Sadler is the current chair of MaPSAC and Obeyesekera leads the compensation and benefits subcommittee.

The two emeritus members will use their knowledge of the university and the committee to assist with continuity and will serve a one-year term starting in June. MaPSAC will round out its 2024-25 officer positions when the committee elects a new vice chair during its May meeting.

More information about MaPSAC can be found on the MaPSAC website.
