* The Innovation Hub AI research project workshop will be Tuesday, April 2, 1-2 p.m. in Krannert Center, Room 100, West Lafayette. Faculty and instructors from Purdue’s West Lafayette and Indianapolis campuses. are invited to register for the on-site workshop, during which research project members will present their results and provide applications for working with generative AI and large language models in Purdue classrooms. Details here.

* The Westside Community Development Corp. is partnering with Purdue University in Indianapolis for an event focused on strengthening community and cultivating connections. The community reception will be Monday, April 22, at The Nest Event Center in Indianapolis.

Purdue University has its sights set on turning some mostly underdeveloped land on the northeastern portion of IUPUI into the heart of its new Indianapolis extension. But its aspirations go beyond constructing some buildings on a site that today consists of three parking garages, four surface lots and the headquarters for the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society.
