Financial aid presentations to offer information for students, parents
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - High school students and their parents can learn more about college financial aid during either of two upcoming presentations by Purdue University's Division of Financial Aid and the Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette financial aid office.
The presentations will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13 and Jan. 18 at the Ivy Tech Community College Auditorium, 3101 S. Creasy Lane, Lafayette. The Indiana Student Financial Aid Association is sponsoring the presentations. Each program will begin with a short overview of financial aid basics, then students and parents will hear detailed information about the process of filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Parents and students may also attend College Goal Sunday on Feb. 12 at Ivy Tech Community College. Starting at 2 p.m., financial aid counselors will be available to help families complete the FAFSA and to answer any additional financial aid questions they might have. See https://www.collegegoalsunday.org/ for more information and a list of all Indiana locations.
