WBAA donor gift sets to include Garrison Keillor tickets
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - WBAA enthusiasts can now support the local radio station while getting tickets to the screening of "A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor - Live in HD" at 8 p.m. Feb. 4 at Goodrich Eastside 9 Theater.
WBAA is offering two "A Prairie Home Companion" thank you gift sets for donors, said Sally Lutes, the station's development director.
With a $120 donation, supporters receive a ticket to the screening, a Lake Wobegon map mug and "A Prairie Home Companion" sponsor magnet set. In addition to these items, donors giving $240 or more get "A Prairie Home Companion" tote.
"A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor – Live in HD" will feature guests including singers Jearlyn and Jevetta Steele and Heather Masse, actors Tim Russell and Sue Scott, and The Guy's All-Star Shoe Band.
WBAA airs "A Prairie Home Companion" on FM 101.3 on Saturdays from 6-8 p.m., and on AM 920 on Sundays from 2-4 p.m. Garrison Keillor previously hosted the show live from Purdue's Elliott Hall of Music in 2001 and 2006.
The live show will be broadcast via satellite to 500 theaters across the United States and Canada.
