Purdue defense institute plans research summit

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University's Institute for Defense Innovation will hold a defense research summit April 30 to May 3.

The summit combines the annual Purdue Center for Systems Integrity program with two new events focused on defense spectrum management and thermal energy management for aerospace vehicles. It is designed for defense contractors and Department of Defense civilian and military personnel interested in reliability, electronic warfare and thermal energy management.

The summit will have three symposium tracks on systems integrity, thermal management of aerospace vehicles and the defense spectrum. Keynote lectures and short courses also will be offered.

Fees vary according to the sessions participants choose. Those who register by April 1 will receive a 25 percent cost reduction.
