WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Internationally acclaimed vocal phenomenon Celtic Woman will perform at 3 p.m. March 25 at Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music.

This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations.

Celtic Woman's new show, "BELIEVE," features the all-female singing group performing classic Irish tunes such as "The Water Is Wide," "Green Grow the Rushes," "A Woman's Heart," and "The Parting Glass;" pop anthems such as "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Sailing;" and inspirational songs including "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Ave Maria." The group will give its signature Celtic Woman twist under the direction of Emmy-nominated music producer, David Downes.

A six-piece band, the Aontas Choir, and renowned Irish dancers will back Celtic Woman's vocalists and violinist.

The CD and companion DVD, "BELIEVE," will be available in stores beginning Jan. 24 through Manhattan Records. Filmed for the first time in America at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Ga., in September, "BELIEVE: LIVE" began airing Dec. 3 on Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) stations around the country as part of the network's quarterly pledge drive.

After its March 2005 American debut on PBS, Celtic Woman emerged as a commercial success, selling more than six million CDs/DVDs and more than two million concert tickets worldwide. Its genre-defining, multi-Platinum-selling projects have each held No. 1 positions on the Billboard World Music Charts: "Celtic Woman" (CD/DVD 2005), "A Christmas Celebration" (CD/DVD 2006), "A New Journey" (CD/DVD 2007), "The Greatest Journey" (CD/DVD 2008), and "Songs From The Heart" (CD/DVD 2010).
