Boilermaker Ball to celebrate gold and black Feb. 24

August 25, 2011

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The fifth annual Boilermaker Ball, the signature event of the Purdue Alumni Association, is set for Feb. 24 in Indianapolis.

The ball, with a theme of vintage aviation ("Together We Fly"), will be at the new JW Marriott, 10 S. West St., in downtown Indianapolis.

"We are excited to celebrate the fifth year of our signature event at the new JW Marriott," said Kirk Cerny, president and CEO of the Purdue Alumni Association. "This is an evening to celebrate being a Boilermaker."

The "creative black tie" attire event is open to Purdue alumni, friends, administration, faculty and staff. Highlights will include live and silent auctions, dinner, dancing and live entertainment.

Individual reservations can be made as well as reserving a table for friends or co-workers. Sponsorship opportunities are available, along with the opportunity to donate auction items.

More information about the ball, as well as reservations and sponsorships, is available at https://www.boilermakerball.org
