Purdue summer commencement set for Aug. 6
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University's summer commencement ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 6 at the Elliott Hall of Music.
The university will award 533 undergraduate degrees, nine professional degrees, 545 master's degrees and 373 doctoral degrees.
University President France A. Córdova will address graduates during the ceremony. Anna Jonnette Armstrong, a foods and nutrition major from Columbus, Ind., who is completing her bachelor's degree in coordinated dietetics, will provide the student response.
Commencement videos will be available. A DVD costs $30, and order forms are available at Stewart Center's Loeb Playhouse box office or by calling 765-494-3933. The deadline for ordering is two weeks after the ceremony.
Commencement will be aired live on Comcast Channel 5 and Boiler TV Channel 13. It also will be shown live via webcast at mms://video1.itap.purdue.edu/graduation
