Military officials meet at Purdue for technology summit

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Officials and technical experts from government, industry and academia will meet during a conference next week at Purdue University to discuss ways to detect and repair damage to military aircraft, ground vehicles and other weapons systems.

The fourth annual Purdue Systems Integrity for Defense Technology Summit, on Monday (March 21) and Tuesday (March 22), is held by the university's Center for Systems Integrity.

The conference will bring together experts from the U.S. Air Force, Marines, Navy and Army, said Douglas E. Adams, center director and Kenninger Professor of Mechanical Engineering.

Adams will give an introductory talk at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the Purdue Memorial Union South Ballroom.

The conference also will include keynote talks by specialists in military technologies and poster presentations by students, which will be on display at the Center for Systems Integrity, 1500 Kepner Drive, in Lafayette.
