Liberty musician to play free concert at Purdue
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Musician Jordan Page perform at Purdue Feb. 24 in a concert sponsored by Purdue Young Americans for Liberty and co-sponsored by Purdue Student Government.
The concert will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 in Fowler Hall, Stewart Center. Admission is free and open to the public.
Page, of Annapolis, Md., will perform his brand of folk and rock music. YAL club founder and treasurer Nathan Murphy said Page is known for his inspirational music and painting a picture of what is happening in the United States.
"I have seen Jordan play live and the only thing that distracts me from the excellent guitar playing was the honest and accurate evaluation of current events found in the lyrics," Murphy said.
Page released his latest album, "Liberty," on Feb. 1 through his record label Revelushun Records. He has played at more than 30 universities along with shows in coordination with YAL's parent organization, Campaign for Liberty.
"I'm absolutely looking forward to playing for students at Purdue," Page said. "It's a good school with smart students that like to have fun."
