Women in Engineering to host program for K-6
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University's Women in Engineering Program will host a fall open house, showcasing its afterschool outreach program, on Oct. 30.
"Imagination, Innovation, Discovery and Design (I2D2)" is free and open to students in grades K-6. It will be held in the Lawson Computer Science Building, 305 N. University St.
Students and their families may come any time from 9 a.m. to noon to view the open exhibits. Hands-on activities will be held at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Participants will explore basic engineering concepts through hands-on activities under the guidance of engineering students.
No preregistration is required. Children must be under parental supervision during the event.
