WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Eva Nodine, Purdue Global’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer, is a 2025 recipient of the Indiana CPA Society’s Women to Watch Award, which was announced Nov. 21 in Indianapolis during the society’s annual CPA Celebration.
The Women to Watch Award honors outstanding women within the certified public accountant profession. Nodine was honored for her work as Purdue Global’s CFO and COO, in addition to her roles as vice president, deputy CFO and assistant treasurer at Purdue University and her volunteerism with community organizations.
Nodine was one of three women who received the award this year.
“Since the moment I went back to school, I knew I wanted to be a CPA. It has been an honor to use my education and professional development to give back to other women and young professionals,” Nodine said.
According to her nomination, Nodine is a passionate advocate for working adult learners, having earned her degrees online while balancing work and family. She mentors women in finance and leadership, volunteers with Junior Achievement, and supports financial literacy programs for elementary students. She’s also a frequent speaker at Purdue leadership events and actively supports alumni mentorship programs. Nodine’s story is one of perseverance, purpose and impact — proof that leadership is built through service and a commitment to uplifting others.
“Eva’s journey from bookkeeper to overseeing a $3 billion budget is a testament to her grit, vision, building trusted relationships, and belief in the power of education and professional development,” said Chris Ruhl, Purdue Global’s interim CEO and Purdue University’s CFO and treasurer.
Serving as Purdue Global’s CFO and COO since May 2024, Nodine oversees day-to-day operations of enrollment management, financial aid, information technology, marketing, human resources, finance, accounting and data analytics. Nodine has held numerous financial roles for Purdue since 2012, including senior director of financial planning and analysis, director of general ledger transformation, and director of benefits. She also served as Purdue Global’s treasurer from 2021-24.
