Student Organizations

Purdue currently has almost 1,000 student organizations you can join. There are organizations directly connected with your major and career interests, sports, politics, automotive and aviation, arts and cultural, and many others. Each one can provide an opportunity to develop and practice important leadership and professional competencies. The LPD Experiences database does not list all organizations and positions. There are so many ways to develop depending on the organization and your role that it is recommended you reflect on your involvement and how you will be able to articulate how you learned and demonstrated the various competencies with the LPD rubrics.
