The One Community Grant provides up to $2500 for student-driven programs which promote inclusion and provide Purdue students with opportunities to engage with those from other cultures and experiences. The promotion of events which provide meaningful international and domestic student interaction and cross-cultural learning is the primary purpose of this grant. As such, a collaboration between multiple student organizations that provide meaningful international and domestic student interaction is a requirement of this grant.
The One Community Grant is a collaboration between the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging and the Office of International Students and Scholars. The grant is open to all Purdue student groups or organizations with relevant programs. We will consider all activities that fall under the guidelines of the grant, and there are no specific limitations on the use of the funds as long as relevant Purdue policies are followed. An application submitted through BoilerLink and an in-person interview with the grant committee is required, along with a follow-up report after the program is finished.
To apply for the grant, please complete the application form. Any questions regarding the grant should be sent to the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at diversity@purdue.edu.
