SupportLinc employee assistance program also provides work-life integration tools, resources

Since the SupportLinc employee assistance program (EAP) was introduced, it’s been shared that SupportLinc’s web portal also provides expert referrals and consultations, which includes convenience resources for childcare, elder care, home repair, housing needs, education, pet care, adoption and more.

This aspect of SupportLinc ties to the Healthy Boiler Program’s work-life integration pillar, which offers family-friendly benefits and programs that meet 21st century work-life demands.

At the top of the Purdue-dedicated SupportLinc website, you’ll see icons for all the ways you can contact / interact with SupportLinc Care Advocates as well as links for Wellbeing, Family, Career, Lifestyle and Legal and Financial. Each link provides a variety of resources specific to the topic. Hover over “Family” and you can select a family-related sub-topic, such as Caregivers, Child Care, Elder Care, Family and more.

When you click on any of the sub-topics, layers of resources appear such as General Information, Article, Resource, Training, Video, Tip Sheet, Find a Provider, Toolkits and so on that lead to additional assets. A few examples are:

As you can see, along with the behavioral health assistance offered through SupportLinc, the work-life integration (family friendly) resources also are plentiful.  As a reminder, all requests for information or assistance through the SupportLinc program are free of charge and completely confidential. Employees can contact SupportLinc anytime, around-the-clock, 365 days a year.
