The Purdue Extension Master Gardener (EMG) Program will hold a statewide virtual Extension Master Basic Gardener Training on Tuesdays, August 25 through December 1, 2020 (no meeting November 24), from 6:30-8:30 PM ET / 5:30-7:30 PM CT via live webinars. Final exam given during week of December 8-15.  There will also be a weekly local connection hour with your county’s Extension Master Gardener coordinator. The day, time, and place for the local connection hour will be determined by your county’s EMG coordinator and could be in person, a virtual web meeting, or a combination of both.

Application and Registration Information

Please read the Purdue Extension Master Gardener Program Policy Guide and complete, sign, and return the Purdue EMG Application and Agreement Form (Form EMG-1) to your local hosting Purdue EMG County Coordinator (see below). All applicants are also required to consent to national and state sex and violent offender registry checks and provide evidence of a government issued photo ID to your local EMG County Coordinator or designated Purdue Extension staff.

Upon confirmation of acceptance of your application and providing evidence of government issued photo ID, an online registration link will be sent to you by the hosting EMG County Coordinator.
