Opportunities
We are always looking for undergraduate students who are interested in contributing to the development of more sustainable local food production systems by studying beneficial plant-soil-microbial relationships. Students best suited to our lab will enjoy working in field and greenhouse settings, but also have the detail-oriented skills needed to accurately conduct laboratory assays.
The Hoagland Lab is currently recruited PhD students to investigate mechanisms mediating the development of disease suppressive soils. Perspective candidates must have a strong academic background and training in soil science, microbiology and/or plant pathology.
