Weed Science Lab Welcomes New Visiting Scholar

Nicolle Salamanca

Nicolle Salamanca is a new Visiting Scholar in the Horticulture Crops Weed Science Lab. She was born and raised in Colombia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the National University of Colombia (UNAL). Nicolle joined the Meyers Lab because she is deeply passionate about horticultural production. Her short-term goal is to learn as much as possible about weed science and to gain valuable experience from the team. Her long-term goal is to have the opportunity to apply for a graduate degree in the same area, in order to deepen her knowledge and eventually apply and share it in her home country.
