David Barbarash, Yiwei Huang, and Sean Rotar attended the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA) Conference last week. All three presented recent research work. Yiwei presented a paper, joined a panel presentation, and collaborated on a research poster with recent graduate Yuan Zhang. David and Sean presented a paper, and David attended the meetings of the CELA Board of Directors in his capacity as the regional representative for Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Sean also attended the CELA administrator’s meetings for accredited programs in landscape architecture and the Sigma Lambda Alpha (SLA) honor society meeting in his role on the SLA national Board of Directors.
