Hoagland Lab Publishes New Paper

New paper from the Hoagland lab co-led by former post-docs Marian Luis and Amit Jaiswal. The paper titled ‘Deciphering the mechanisms regulating variability in induced systemic resistance among tomato genotypes’ was published in the journal Phythopathology https://apsjournals.apsnet.org/doi/10.1094/PHYTO-07-24-0240-R. The team used RNA-seq to determine the molecular basis for these differential responses. Results of this study will help tomato breeders develop new tomato varieties that can better withstand foliar disease pressure via beneficial root-microbial relationships.
