Petrus Langenhoven and Nathan Shoaf (Purdue Extension) attended the 2025 American Society for Horticultural Science Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Langenhoven co-authored an oral presentation, presented by Shoaf, titled “Integration of Cover Crops and Compost Applications: Evidence-Based Approaches for Enhancing Soil Health in Indiana Urban Agricultural Systems,” and presented a poster, co-authored by Shoaf, on “Impact of Soil Fertility Amendments and Cover Cropping on Soil Health in Vegetable Production.” Both presentations highlighted ongoing research efforts to improve sustainable growing practices and soil health management in vegetable production systems throughout Indiana.
