Dr. Steve Hallett Receives Purdue’s Top Teaching Honor

On March 24, Dr. Steve Hallett was surprised with the prestigious Charles B. Murphy Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award, Purdue University’s highest teaching accolade. This award recognizes Dr. Hallett’s exceptional dedication and contributions to undergraduate education.

Dr. Hallett, a professor in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, is the second faculty member from his department to receive this award, following Paul Siciliano. This recognition underscores the department’s commitment to teaching excellence.

Later in the afternoon, the department celebrated with cake.
