The Carmel Chinese Garden Co-envisioning workshop was successfully conducted on the previous Sunday in Carmel, Indiana. The public engagement process, led by Assistant Professor Yiwei Huang, thus far has garnered considerable support from the community. Approximately 70 individuals participated in the workshop in person, while an additional 240 responses were received through an online survey. A total of six Purdue students, five undergraduates and one graduate student, were involved in facilitating the workshop and gained valuable hands-on experience in community engagement.
