Beautiful First Harvest from Container Farms

Wall of leafy greens in the Freight farm.

We got our first harvest of lettuce from the container farms last week! Yields came in slightly higher than expected but not as high as Brittany hopes to push them in the future. At full capacity, one container farm is capable of producing almost 1000 heads of lettuce per week! All product grown will go towards the Student Farm CSA or to Hospitality and Tourism Management for use here on campus.
