I’ve been an Academic Advisor at Purdue since 2013 and am proud to now serve the Department of Horticulture & Landscape Architecture. While Advisors are guides to help students understand degree requirements, navigate campus life, and tap into the great resources and opportunities at Purdue, I also hope to offer encouragement, serve as a trusted mentor, and empower students to clarify and achieve their own unique goals.
ABOUT ME: My husband and I met at Purdue and are College of Ag alumni. Our daughter is a high school teacher. Before advising, I was a Field Biologist for nine years at an environmental consulting firm where I documented a variety of potential impacts related to proposed road projects. I’m also an ordained minister and served as an Associate Pastor for 12 years. Music has been a big part of my life (I played trumpet in the Purdue All American Marching Band) and in my free time I’m likely to be reading, strolling in the woods, hammocking, gardening or walking our dog Daisy.
