Purdue Agriculture 2025 TEAM Award announcement flyer

The Purdue Student Farm has been named the recipient of the prestigious Purdue Agriculture 2025 TEAM Award, recognizing its outstanding collaborative efforts and impact across the university and community.

This vibrant initiative is powered by a dedicated team of students, staff, and faculty who work across disciplines to cultivate more than just crops. The farm serves as a dynamic outdoor laboratory, advancing sustainable agriculture through hands-on research. It also supports the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management with fresh produce and operates a thriving Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

In times of surplus, the farm extends its mission of service by donating fresh produce to the ACE Food Pantry, reinforcing its commitment to food security and community well-being.

Described as a “land-grant gem,” the Purdue Student Farm exemplifies the university’s mission of research, education, and outreach. The team’s passion, innovation, and hard work have created a model of grassroots excellence.

Team Members Include: Petrus Langenhoven (HLA), Chris Adair (HLA), Ashley Adair (HLA), Moriah Bilenky (HLA), Wil Brown-Grimm (AGRE), Amanda Deering (FS), Nathan Deppe (HLA), Steven Doyle (ABE), Milena Agila (ENTM), Josue Cerritos Garcia (HLA), Wenjing Guan (HLA), Steve Hallett (HLA), Lori Hoagland (HLA), Yiwei Huang (HLA), Laura Ingwell (ENTM), Lori Jolly-Brown (HLA), Kirby Kalbaugh (AGRE), Tian Li (ME), Elizabeth Maynard (HLA), Stephen Meyers (HLA), Scott Monroe (Purdue Extension), Miranda Purcell (HLA), Ankita Raturi (ABE), Nathan Shoaf (Purdue Extension), Aaron Thompson (HLA), Amy Thompson (Purdue Extension), and Ariana Torres (AGEC/HLA).
