The Purdue Student Farm has been named the recipient of the prestigious Purdue Agriculture 2025 TEAM Award, recognizing its outstanding collaborative efforts and impact across the university and community.
This vibrant initiative is powered by a dedicated team of students, staff, and faculty who work across disciplines to cultivate more than just crops. The farm serves as a dynamic outdoor laboratory, advancing sustainable agriculture through hands-on research. It also supports the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management with fresh produce and operates a thriving Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
In times of surplus, the farm extends its mission of service by donating fresh produce to the ACE Food Pantry, reinforcing its commitment to food security and community well-being.
Described as a “land-grant gem,” the Purdue Student Farm exemplifies the university’s mission of research, education, and outreach. The team’s passion, innovation, and hard work have created a model of grassroots excellence.
