Dr. Susan South attends the Society for Ambulatory Assessment conference in Vienna, Austria, where she presents her work on an updated review of the literature examining diary and ecological momentary assessment (EMA) studies in older adults since 2007. The rapid growth of diary and EMA research, aided by advances in technology, has created a need for an updated review of the field. This work examines how ambulatory assessment methods have been used with older adult populations and identifies emerging trends, gaps in the literature, and directions for future research.
