Undergraduate senior Tyler Pierce presented his research poster at the Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA) conference in Chicago in mid-April. His research examines the associations between Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizotypal Personality Disorder, and working memory.
As April conferences approach, several of our undergraduate lab members have taken on independent projects, developing their own research posters within the lab. Two of our members recently presented at the Purdue Psychology Undergraduate Conference. You can find details about their posters below:
Emma Gardinier presented her research on recruitment challenges in the CADI study, focusing on online platforms and methods that extend beyond local participant pools.
Muskaan Nigam presented her research on college students’ perceptions of online dating applications and behaviors related to infidelity in romantic relationships.
“Psychopathology and Mental Health” brings both the science and the personal aspects of the discipline to life in an attempt to answer pressing questions as accurately and sensitively as possible. For the 10th edition, longtime authors Thomas Oltmanns and Robert Emery are joined by new co-authors Kelsie Forbush and Susan South. The expanded author team discusses diagnosis and treatment in context to explain the biological, psychological and social perspectives on psychopathology and mental health.
The 10th edition incorporates the latest research findings, including references to hundreds of new studies. Topics receiving new and updated coverage include alternatives to the traditional categorical diagnostic system and the prevalence of mood disorder symptoms.
