Commencement announcement from President Daniels

Dear graduating students,

I write with news that I’m sure you all were expecting. That makes it no easier for me to deliver or for you to receive.

Purdue’s commencement ceremonies are known far and wide as among the best and most memorable anywhere. Among universities our size, we are almost alone in providing every individual student an on-stage moment of honor. The very size and density of the Purdue approach to commencement makes our event even more incompatible with the current anti-pandemic rules. Consequently, I’m compelled to report, we will be unable to conduct our traditional in-person May commencement ceremonies.  Read more...

Event Cancelations!
Ensuring the health and safety of our patrons as well as our staff is of the utmost importance to Hall of Music Productions.  Per the Purdue University COVID-19 announcement dated 10 March 2020, events through May 2  will be cancelled.   While we hope that some of these events may be rescheduled for the future, at this time all tickets will be refunded.

REFUND PROCESS

  • Ticket refunds will issued beginning on Monday, March 23, 2020.
  • CREDIT CARDS: If you purchased tickets via credit card either at the Purdue box office or on Ticketmaster.com, those refunds will be processed automatically within 7-10 business days beginning March 23rd.
  • CASH/CHECK: If you utilized cash or check to purchase tickets refund checks will be issued via US mail within 30 business days beginning March 23rd.

Our Place

Hall of Music Productions manages Purdue University’s performing arts venues and serves as an in-house production company to provide the latest technological offerings in audio, lighting, staging and video production for university events on and off campus. Your Place

Hall of Music Productions “hits the road” to provide superior production services in the Greater Lafayette, Indiana, area and throughout the Midwest. “Your place” might be on campus, like the Shively Club, the atrium of the Armstrong Building or the Purdue Memorial Union Ballroom. It could be West Lafayette’s Morton Center or the annual Taste of Tippecanoe. We cater to your needs.

Student Learning

Hall of Music Productions is a learning center for students in the field of entertainment technology and production support. Students garner real-life, hands-on professional experiences

Engagement

Hall of Music Productions is honored to represent Purdue University in performing arts and special events through partnerships with other production companies and facilities across the Midwest. We act as an outreach to many other academic entities, be it with high schools or our collegiate peers. Additionally, we serve as a vital resource to the local performing arts community.
