Christine K. Collins is Director of International Student Services. Since joining Purdue University in 2002, Collins has built a distinguished career within the institution’s international and global programs, advancing through progressively responsible roles that center on compliance, operational excellence, and compassionate student support. Over more than two decades, she has contributed to and helped lead transformative growth in Purdue’s international student services, developing deep expertise in federal regulatory compliance, student advising, data governance, and cross‑campus collaboration.
Collins currently directs a team of more than 25 individuals who support thousands of international student cases. She is widely recognized for her commitment to creating resilient, student‑centered operations and for her ability to navigate the complex regulatory frameworks governing F‑1 and J‑1 international students. Her work reflects a long‑standing dedication to global engagement, compliance integrity, and institutional service.
Collins maintains an active leadership presence across the University through her service on numerous committees and governance bodies. She also concluded a nearly decade‑long tenure as Chair of the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) International Directors Group in 2024, following years of coordinating cross‑institutional collaboration and representing Purdue within the consortium.
