About Global Partnerships and Global Programs

Purdue University’s global engagement is supported by two complementary pillars—Global Partnerships and Global Programs—each playing a distinct role in advancing the university’s international mission.

Global Partnerships, within the purview of the Senior Vice President for Partnerships and Online, focuses on building and sustaining Purdue’s strategic relationships around the world. Under the leadership of the Director of the Office of Global Partnerships, this work includes country‑focused initiatives in Colombia and India and strategic initiatives that advance research collaboration, academic mobility, and institutional engagement around the world.

Global Programs, housed within the Office of the Provost and led by Purdue’s Senior International Officer and Vice President for Global Programs, supports the international experience of students, scholars, and faculty on campus and abroad. The Senior International Officer oversees International Student Services, International Scholar Services, Study Abroad, and Programming and Engagement efforts that foster global learning, cultural exchange, and community‑building across Purdue.
