What is the significance of the double-arrowhead convention in representing the applied torques?
I had the same question too - I believe a single arrow would be the force in that direction, while a double arrow is the convention for torque, seemingly to avoid confusion between the two in a system diagram.
I am resolving the question and was wondering, how the torque loads on components (1) and (2) are affected by the applied torques at connectors B and C?
