Are we supposed to find the reaction force of sphere A acting on sphere B as a vector, or do we just find the magnitude of the force?
The question is just asking for the magnitude of the reaction force.
When finding the reaction force of the floor on ball A, do we need to use the total mass for the force of gravity or is the force of gravity of ball B already accounted for in force AB?
To find the reaction force of the floor on ball A, I would start by drawing FBD. You would clearly see that the weight of ball A and "y component" of the reaction force of ball B acting on ball A are the only forces acting against the reaction force of the floor on ball A.
