Re: Eva Nodine promoted to Vice President/Deputy CFO
Please join me in congratulating Eva in her new role as Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. As we plan for the future, notably Purdue’s Next Moves, and numerous key strategic finance initiatives, it’s imperative that trusted and credible leaders like Eva are rewarded for outstanding performance and provided the opportunity to serve the University in new and expanded ways.
In the past year, Eva’s role has expanded to include the responsibility and oversight of the University’s Treasury department and the EVPRP Business Management Office, as well as assuming the role of Treasurer and Advisory Committee member for Purdue Global. Under Eva’s leadership her team has led numerous strategic initiatives, including the University’s $260 million Next Moves financial plan, an overhaul of our cash management, forecasting and investment strategy and the fiscal planning, modeling and analysis for our migration of Purdue Global back office functions to the University. Through her leadership, Eva has again demonstrated her importance as a key resource to senior University leaders, the Trustees and me.
While reflecting on past successes is important, our focus as a team is on the future. Over the next year we will work together to execute the Next Moves plan to produce a positive return on investment, continue to ensure the Purdue experience is accessible, affordable and high quality for our students, and develop key performance indicators and metrics to enable a consistent and simple view of the efficiency and efficacy of University functions, operations and departments. As a team, we will greatly benefit from Eva’s expanded role and continued trusted leadership in these areas and others.
