Re:       Frank Dooley

 

I am pleased to announce that Frank Dooley, vice provost for teaching and learning, is being promoted to senior vice provost for teaching and learning, effective June 1.

This change encompasses Frank’s recently announced new role as lead to the Purdue team that will oversee academic and support functions for the public university resulting from the Kaplan acquisition.  Frank already has held one discussion session with Purdue faculty and I know he plans on holding more going forward.

Frank will continue to be responsible for all areas that currently report to the vice provost for teaching and learning.  He has demonstrated many times through many programs that he is able to listen carefully, clarify when necessary, and identify clearly the most effective outcomes. I am confident that he is well-suited for his additional responsibilities and I know you will give him your full support.
