Responsibilities
- Inspects buildings and shops for safety compliance on WL campus
- Conducts Powered Industrial Truck equipment trainings (fork lifts, powered pallet jacks, etc.)
- Performs audits of department’s Integrated Safety Plans
- Responsible for annual summer inspection of eye wash units and safety showers on WL campus
- Audits departmental and regional farms for compliance with OSHA safety regulations and pesticide use/storage requirements
- Provides Worker Protection Standard (WPS) training

- OSHA 10 Hour General Labor
- 24-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations
- DOT Hazardous Materials Employee
- Indiana Licensed Pesticide Applicator (Category 1)
