Food, feed, and fuel for the 21st century and beyond
In the dawn of the 21st century, we have entered a new era in global food security concerns. The world population has risen to over seven billion and is expected to grow to nine billion by the year 2050. Achieving food security for so many people has only become more difficult in recent years due to a combination of interconnected scientific, economic, social, political, and environmental factors. PCGFS is taking up these challenges, helping to ensure that we have enough food, feed and fuel for the 21st century and beyond.
