About Me
- What drives your work or involvement? From experience is self-motivation or what i call self-interest, and enthusiasm. Before I start to do anything or get involved in anything, I usually have a goal in mind. Which is usually impacting people and developing some inter- and intra-personal skills. So, with that in mind i give utmost priority whenever possible to tasks given.
- What communities or students you care most about supporting: I am particularly passionate about supporting students from international backgrounds. These students often face unique challenges navigating unfamiliar academic systems, adjusting to cultural differences, or accessing mentorship and resources. My goal is to help create an inclusive, supportive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed, find community, and reach their full potential.
- What excites you about engagement, leadership, or global learning: What excites me most is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing personally and professionally. I am driven by self-motivation and enthusiasm, and I approach every engagement with a clear goal in mind often centered on helping others and developing my interpersonal and leadership skills. Whether through leadership, collaborative projects, or global learning experiences, I am energized by the chance to contribute, learn from diverse perspectives, and create positive change in my community.
- You can mention a fun-fact about yourself if you’d like! I like basketball but my shots never make it into the basket.
What motivated you to become a Global Student Ambassador?
I understand how transformative it is to feel welcomed, represented, and supported in a global academic environment. As an international student, I have experienced both the challenges and opportunities of navigating a new educational and cultural system. Serving as a Global Student Ambassador allows me to support incoming students, share accurate and reassuring perspectives.
One piece of advice for current students
Be proactive about seeking support and opportunity through faculty, peers, or campus resources. Students who thrive most are those who ask questions, build relationships early, and recognize that needing support is part of the learning process, not a weakness.
