The Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC) and Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee (CSSAC) will highlight campus programs, courses and services available to employees at a Resource Fair on Monday (Sept. 9). It will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom. The event is open to all Purdue employees.

President Mitch Daniels is preparing to announce a series of initiatives at the University's West Lafayette campus designed to enhance student achievement and address some of the major questions facing higher education.
The Purdue community is invited to join President Mitch Daniels for a President's Forum on Sept. 12 in the North Ballroom, Purdue Memorial Union. The forum, scheduled for 8-9:30 a.m., will focus on Purdue's new agenda -- initiatives developed from across the University that are designed to place Purdue among the great academic institutions of the world.
As part of the procurement process transformation, and effective Sept. 1, a contract owner will be designated for each contract executed via Procurement Services.
The Disability Resource Center's accommodated exam area, DRC Testing, will be open Thursday evenings beginning Sept. 19. The change is being made in response to faculty and student requests for extended hours.
Faculty can arrange to have a guest in the Old Masters program come to a class and share their experience Nov. 3-5.
ITaP Video and Multimedia Production Services, Purdue's central video-production unit, specializes in fulfilling the educational, instructional and marketing video needs of clients.

Distinguished Purdue chemistry professor Philip Low will serve as the inaugural director of the Purdue Center for Drug Discovery, a new initiative to promote the discovery, design and development of new drugs through collaborations in chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biology and engineering.

More than 50 institutions of higher education will converge on Purdue's West Lafayette campus Oct. 20-21 during the Big Ten+ Graduate School Exposition.
The Office of Programs for Study Abroad will hold an all-campus Study Abroad Fair today (Sept. 4).
The Engineering Management program, which is a collaborative effort of the College of Engineering and Krannert School of Management, now offers recent engineering graduates two new tracks: a one-year accelerated option and a two-year track that includes one year of applied work experience. A student completing either track earns a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) degree.
This summer's mild temperatures and modest rainfall have been good for Indiana's wine grapes, which could lead to more flavorful, aromatic wines, say members of the Purdue Wine Grape Team.

Six co-ed home meets, including visits from eight Big Ten Conference rivals, highlight the 2013-14 Purdue swimming and diving schedules, which are announced by head coaches Dan Ross and John Klinge.
Boilermaker softball fans will have plenty of opportunities to get a look at the 2014 team during its fall season as Purdue is set for 11 games during September and October.
