Wireless access

Wireless access points help Purdue Police collect video evidence more efficiently

Until recently, officers at the Purdue University Police Department were spending up to 45 minutes a day downloading and formatting digital video footage from their dashboard cameras. But now, with support from ITaP and Physical Facilities, the department’s video footage is automatically downloaded wirelessly the instant a patrol returns to the station, yielding significant time savings for police.
