America Saves Week to focus on financial health

February 20, 2012

Throughout February, Human Resources WorkLife Programs has held financial workshops in conjunction with America Saves Week, which provides guidance on the hows and whys of saving money. One February opportunity for financial learning is still remaining: "Ways for Women to Invest With Success," facilitated by Jenny Spencer, Fidelity counselor.

"Ways for Women to Invest with Success" will take a look at some key financial issues unique to women, no matter what age. The class will be held from 4:10 to 4:50 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 22) in Stewart Center, Room 202.

America Saves Week runs Feb. 19-26 and includes local, regional and national organizations. America Saves is a 9-year-old effort to encourage Americans to begin saving or increase the amount they regularly save.
