While rising temperatures are a growing concern for many, the unique challenges they pose for farmworkers and the agricultural workforce often go unnoticed. Heat stress can significantly impact labor productivity, worker safety, and ultimately, our food supply.
Equally important to understanding individual heat tolerance is identifying the geographical areas that will bear the brunt of increasing temperatures. Do these regions have the necessary resources to mitigate heat stress?
