Congratulations!

Congratulations to Gillian Coffey, senior Nutrition Science major, who has been accepted to attend the Indiana University School of Medicine!

Purdue’s Nutrition Science major provides the necessary foundation for graduate work in nutrition and other health and life sciences programs. As exemplified by Gillian’s success, the Nutrition Science major is an excellent choice for Pre Med students at Purdue. The Nutrition Science major offers exceptional preparation for students interested in pursuing careers in medicine and other health-related careers, including medical school and most professional health programs such as dental, physical therapy, physician assistant, accelerated nursing, optometry, veterinary, and public health.

Nutrition Science majors also pursue careers as research assistants, chemists, program managers, product developers, pharmaceutical sales representatives, and many other important roles in areas such as government, industry (food, agriculture, pharmaceutical), and non-profit. Additionally, many choose to continue their education by earning either a masters or doctorate and will go on to become leaders in academia and elsewhere.
